Ben White is an associate at Andersen, Tate & Carr, with his practice covering a wide variety of subject matters. Ben takes a special interest in assisting clients with employment issues, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, and other business torts. Ben also recognizes the importance of preventative counseling and frequently assists clients with FLSA and ACA compliance issues. He also enjoys drafting a variety of documents to ensure his clients’ interests are protected, including employment agreements and restrictive covenants.
Prior to joining Andersen, Tate, & Carr, Ben served as a staff attorney for Chief Judge Harold A. Hinesley in the Toombs Judicial Circuit. He then practiced with a large southeast insurance defense firm, where he gained valuable litigation experience.
Originally from Michigan, Ben obtained his Bachelor of Science with a major in Neuroscience from Michigan State University. He then went on to graduate from Mercer University School of Law where he was a Dean’s Scholar. During law school, Ben gained experience working for a wide variety of legal organizations including the Michigan Attorney General’s Tax and Revenue Department, a Personal Injury firm, and a Tax Controversy and Estate Planning practice. He was also a member of the Moot Court and Negotiations teams and earned a certificate in Advanced Research and Legal Writing.
Ben and his fiancé live in Lawrenceville with their multiple animals and enjoy staying active in the Gwinnett community.
