ATC Attorneys Say Goodbye to Nancy Grace
After actively advocating victim’s rights for the past 12 years, Nancy Grace has aired for its final time on HLN. The current affairs show focused primarily on current-day true-crime and encouraged oftentimes-heated analysis of cases by attorneys, journalists, forensic scientists, and criminal justice professionals. Andersen, Tate & Carr attorneys, Trinity Hundredmark and Patrick McDonough were honored to be frequent guests on the show.
Nancy Grace focused her professional career on what she perceived to be miscarriages of justice, and she became a leading TV voice for victim’s rights. During on-air time with HLN, she led the coverage of two of this century’s most infamous trials: Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias. Her nightly show often highlighted violent crimes against women and children.
In the last 15 minutes of her final show, Nancy Grace reflected on her 12 years with the show, thanked the team that helped her build such success, and expressed gratitude to the viewers who had been there for her throughout the journey. While she hasn’t spoken specifically about her next steps, Nancy Grace did close her last show with the following sentiments. “A new chapter is awaiting, a new journey lies ahead. I hope you come with me. Nancy Grace signing off. Thank you. And tonight, it’s not goodbye. It’s just goodnight, friend.”
