Tyler A. Dillard

Tyler Dillard is a litigation and trial attorney and a partner at the firm. He represents clients in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. Tyler takes on cases covering a broad set of subject matters because he believes the clients and the merits of the case are much more important than the specific type of case at issue. Tyler has represented clients in high-stakes litigation ranging from cases involving corporate fraud, shareholder disputes, or breaches of contract all the way to cases involving human trafficking, medical malpractice, or tractor trailer crashes.

Tyler has helped clients recover more than $100 million in total, and he has successfully defended numerous other clients facing high exposure claims asserted against them.

Most civil cases settle prior to trial, and Tyler works diligently to obtain the best settlements possible for his clients. However, when the opposing party or insurance company is unreasonable, Tyler goes to trial. He has tried more than a dozen cases to verdict, including jury trials, bench trials, and arbitration. He’s conducted countless depositions and mediations and has argued many motions in both state and federal courts.

Tyler graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Georgia in 2010 and Cum Laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2013. Tyler, his wife, and their two children live in Atlanta. His family is active at Haygood Memorial United Methodist Church and at Ansley Golf Club . Tyler is a Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta sports fan. He enjoys golf and tennis in his free time.

Ross K.

“The first lawyer I met with said my case was worth $3,000 – $6,000. I met with Tyler next, and he eventually recovered $100,000 for my case. Tyler did an outstanding job.”

John Doe
Todd H. and Kevin S.

“Tyler represented our lending and factoring company in a litigation matter adverse to a national surety company, local county government, and construction company. The areas of law at issue were complex, and the stakes for our business were high. Tyler provided us with thorough research and honest guidance on the potential problems we faced as well as thoughtful arguments on how we may overcome those. Ultimately, Tyler represented us at a mediation and helped us negotiate a settlement that secured our recovery of a substantial amount of money. We appreciated Tyler’s representation.”

Tremainer M.

“Tyler represented my Mom after she was injured at a major retail store. Tyler worked hard to get security camera footage and key documents that showed the store’s negligence. The store then paid up, and we were very happy with the amount of money my Mom received.”

Christina S.

“After I left my former employer, I was frivolously sued. My old company claimed that I had breached my employment agreement, violated computer protection laws, and stolen business.  All of it was untrue. Tyler represented me in defending against this. He requested that the Court dismiss all of the false claims and he sought to hold the other side accountable for their wrongful accusations. Tyler’s assertive approach proved to end the case before it ever really began. Before long, the other side agreed to completely drop their case against me. I was thankful Tyler helped me move on quickly.”

Gina M.

“My business was sued by a large franchisor and local franchisee. They were demanding more than $200,000 in damages and claiming that I had breached contracts, infringed on intellectual property, and owed them unpaid fees. I turned to Tyler after I was not satisfied with my first lawyer. Tyler represented me aggressively by amending my previous Answer and asserting new counterclaims. He then deposed the plaintiffs’ corporate officers and uncovered major problems with their claims. Afterwards, Tyler negotiated a settlement that was approximately 2% of what the Plaintiffs were originally requesting. Tyler listened to my concerns and worked hard on my case.”

Kathy D.

“Tyler represented my husband and me at trial against a landscape and construction company that had done very faulty work in our backyard.  The defendants and their lawyer refused to admit they had done anything wrong and would not negotiate with us.  Tyler obtained a verdict against them and then collected all the money they owed us plus interests.  I recommend Tyler’s work.”

Lori H.

“After my employer wrongfully terminated me, Tyler brought FMLA and FLSA claims on my behalf.  Over the next three years, Tyler argued on multiple occasions in Federal Court, and after obtaining a favorable ruling from the Court, we were able to recover $105,000 for my claims.  I appreciated Tyler’s willingness to fight for me and my case.”

Melinda C.

“Tyler represented me after I was injured in a car wreck. Although there wasn’t much damage to my vehicle, my shoulder was hurt and required surgery. I was happy that Tyler recovered a six-figure sum for me.”

William B.

“Tyler represented me in a multi-year legal battle against other family members in a company shareholder dispute. Eventually, Tyler helped negotiate a successful split of the company and the other shareholders dropped all of their claims. I was happy with Tyler’s representation and persistence in a difficult case.”

Naya L.

“Tyler represented my parents at trial after their neighbor trespassed and cut down their trees. Tyler received a verdict that included treble damages and punitive damages against the neighbor. Tyler exceeded our expectations with his professionalism and knowledge of the law.”

Todd M. Antin, CEO , PACT ATLANTA LLC

Pastor Kevin Creasman, Yellow River Baptist Church

“Tom did a great job for our church but more importantly is a wonderful person and his compassion and desire to have empathy with our situation was obvious to everyone who worked with Tom.”
