In 2007, Thomas J. Andersen and Scott Duncan represented the borrower in the refinance of sixty convenience stores located in twenty counties throughout Georgia and two convenience stores in Alabama in a conduit loan transaction valued at $80,000,000.00. The significant logistical challenges of this deal arose out of complex title and other due diligence issues for each of the sixty-two convenience stores. This securitized transaction was the first conduit loan issued by this lender which was secured by convenience stores, involving significant issues which had to be negotiated with the lender for the first time.
