Donald L. Swift III
Don’s focus is representing individuals who have been seriously injured by the negligence or intentional misconduct of others. He also pursues wrongful death actions for the family members of those have been killed by the carelessness of individuals and corporations. He has extensive experience handling cases involving products liability, railroad crossings, trucking accidents, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Don’s primary goal is to reach a fair settlement of his clients’ cases whenever possible. However, he is willing and able to try cases in front of juries when necessary to obtain the compensation his clients deserve.
Don has tried cases in both federal and state courts and has argued successfully in the Supreme Court of Georgia. Before joining Andersen, Tate & Carr, Don practiced with a large Atlanta law firm, where he began his career defending railroad companies, truck manufacturers, and medical device manufacturers. This experience gave Don an invaluable understanding of the litigation strategy of insurance companies and large corporations, which now aids him in his representation of individuals who seek compensation for their injuries.
